YouTube, one of the potential forms of my project
The inspiration of my project, specifically from Steve Roggenbuck.

My final project for the class will be a supercut montage of mostly all of the videos that were either watched in class or watched at home on the syllabus that contain somewhere in the video the phrase "something beautiful." The inspiration for this project comes straight from Steve Roggenbuck's video "make something beautiful before you are dead (2012)." So, I will answer Roggenbuck's request by creating "Something Beautiful." I will watch the videos and try to find in them some form of those words: either literally using those specific words that someone said or visually as well. Also, this project does not have to be on just YouTube. I'm thinking about extending it to other social media websites, or also on newhive. Another thought that could go along with this would be creating a post-digital object that accompanies the video in some way. Ultimately, what I want to accomplish with this final project is to deform the passionate claim made by Roggenbuck and see if by combining the videos that contain in them either the words "something" or "beautiful" make the end product dissonant or, in fact, beautiful.
