Mashinka Firunts is an artist, writer, and curator currently working toward a Ph.D in Art History at the University of Pennsylvania. Mashinka received her MA from Columbia University in Modern Art: Curatorial Studies. She has presented performances and papers at ICA Philadelphia, Ontological-Hysteric Theater, Northwestern University, Performance Space 122, MoMA, UCLA, and the CUNY Graduate Center. She is currently a contributor to Culturebot.org and a former staff writer for the Columbia University Center for Research on Women and Gender. |
