The poem extracted every line that includes the string “l-y-r-i-c” from a pop song database spanning all genres, standardizing and rearranging the results following the conventions of epic poetry.
Most ambitiously, as a publishing project, large portions of the full SQL database were printed in Zürich as part of the “Poetry Will Be Made By All!” exhibition.
Three full-size wall posters from this printing (30 feet in length) are available for free. Samples of the posters in the exhibition and production can be seen below.
